Cinnamon Protein Bites

A client favorite! This is an easy go to snack for post workout, late afternoon snack or an evening guilt free sweet treat!

Cinnamon Protein Bites

¾ cup gluten free oats

¼ cup ground flax

½ cup vanilla protein (I use Plant Fusion)

½ cup coconut flour

1 tbsp cinnamon

½ tbsp cinnamon sugar

1 tsp butter extract (optional)

1 tsp cinnamon extract

1/3 cup almond butter (or peanut butter)

1/3 cup honey

Mix all dry ingredients first. Then extracts, nut butter choice and honey. Roll into one inch balls. If they are hard to mold, you may need more nut butter or honey. I use a little under the recommended coconut flour because it is very drying. Place balls in freezer for 10 mins. Remove and roll in cinnamon sugar. Store in airtight container in fridge for up to a week. Makes about 20-25 balls and each has around 6 grams of protein- yummy!
